3rd time lucky they say, we finally managed to pick a beautiful sunny afternoon for our Sports day 2023/2024. Mr Brain welcomed all the parents to what was set to be an amazing afternoon.
We started off with our sprint races for all age groups. We have some amazing sprinters! We then went to our hurdle race were the standard of the running just kept getting better which was great to see. Our next 2 races saw us take on the egg and spoon and our obstacle race where the children had to show different skills to compete more races. Next, we showed the parents our long distance running and with the temperatures being so warm they all smashed it. Finally, we finished with our parent's race, all parents joined in which ended a brilliant sports day. We then announced the overall winners of sports day 2024 which was RAVENCLAW.
Thankyou to everyone that attending an amazing afternoon. The children were brilliant! It has been a great 3 years I am going to miss you all.
