We are all celebrating the grant we received on behalf of Churcham School Charity and PTFA which will be used to create our new eco themed nurture and learning space.
On Tuesday 9th January, Class 2 completed a KNEX challenge whereby they were provided a brief of designing a vehicle that could be used for waste removal and recycling products. They had a specification and a judging criteria to adhere to which they all achieved by the end of the session! It was a great morning of problem solving, creativity and teamwork!
On Friday 26th January, Class 1 had a visit from Jasmine from Animals Interactive.
Class 2 had a Stone-Age workshop recently, which was incredibly hands-on and engaging. A Stone-Age homo-sapien came in to wow the children with their animalistic behaviour and strange language! They showed the children some of their weapons and tools and try to communicate with them without using a common language!
